Package: debian-edu-config Version: 2.11.56+deb11u4 Severity: normal Dashamir Hoxha reported on debian-edu@lists.d.o some time ago: > When I try to create the image for a mini-desktop thin client, with the > command: > > debian-edu-ltsp-install --thin_type desktop > > I get this error message: > "E: Unable to locate package firefox-esr-l10n-en"
The script tries to install firefox-esr-l10n-"$LANGCODE", with $LANGCODE grabbed from the /etc/debian-edu/config file. Since Firefox supports 'en' (and 'en-us') natively, the firefox-esr-l10n-en package doesn't exist. The issue has been fixed in Git (master branch): https://salsa.debian.org/debian-edu/debian-edu-config/-/commit/6202ef11fe4159c521b9be1cc503552543cdfc91 Since the firefox-esr-l10n-en-gb package does exist, a simple workaround for bullseye would be: Set LANGCODE="en-gb" in /etc/debian-edu/config (temporarily). Run 'debian-edu-ltsp-install --thin_type desktop' Wolfgang
