Hi!
Hey! It works great! Thanks Andreas!
All, I can take on working up a patch to do this by default on the
900a (testing on all current kernels). Where should I send/submit
the patch once it's ready? Andreas, let me know if you would prefer
to take the lead or corroborate on this.
I'm not an experienced programmer by any means so I'm not too sure
about what I can put together here. It seems easy enough to do - check
if its a 900a and then set pciehp_force=1 before loading the pciehp
module or something along that way. It might actually be a nice
project for a fledgling "maybe contributer" like me but I cannot be
sure when/if I have Internet connection until about Aug. 18th - so If
you don't want to wait and create a fix earlier than that I wont be
upset. Otherwise I will work it out after that date.
I don't usually boot from the
pre-ath5k kernels, but I can definitely do so for testing purposes.
True, I never tried this as well and in my opinion it's not really
necessary because you should really "want" ath5k on the 900a anyway.
Regards
Andreas Schreiner
