Hi,

I would like to see support for automatic handling of the
disposition questions, preferably by parsing "/etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg",
so that I can put my preferences in just one place,

    115 jeff ~ $ grep conf /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg
    # dpkg configuration file
    # Always install the old version of a modified conffile without prompting.
    force-confold
