Since I upgraded to today's upstream version (8.2.1-2 upgraded after 8.2.1-1),
emacs23 can't find org-mode from org-mode package and falls back at v. 6.33x :-(
Having removed org-mode,
$ sudo dpkg -i org-mode_8.2.1-1_all.deb

This bug looks like it was most likely fixed in 9.0.9+dfsg-2, when the
package was converted to use dh-elpa. In 9.1.13+dfsg-1, the first
release after the 9.1.11 series, the postinst no longer does anything,
so I don't see how this can possibly still be a cause for anything.
Meanwhile, #733061 was confirmed resolved, thus I think it's reasonable
to close this bug. If the issue still exists, please file a new bug.
