Oh nice! Thanks. I asked to him to submit as maintrack, then in devrooms, and if maintrack is refused, let's see if Debian, FSF or FSFE can cover travel. Otherwise Hypra will try, but hard given our budget.

Hello,

I am the organizer of the Desktops DevRoom at FOSDEM.

If the Distributions DevRoom does not accept Chris' talk, do not hesitate to contact me. The Desktops DevRoom cannot finance his travel, though: we have no budget :-(

    Hi,

As you know we have been increasing the work about Debian
accessibility since DebConf 2015. While it seems that a lot of
work needs to be done upstream, some action ways are possible for
    Debian.

I think that hearing an expert about the stuff would be
inte!esting. Chris Hoffstader is member of FSF, he worked for
company which develops the most famous screen reader (Jaws), and
knows fine accessibility for blind people, what is to be done from
a dev point of view, etc.

Hence my idea to invite him at next FOSDEM, to get involved in
Distro and Desktops devrooms. It wou;d be an occasion to meet it
and discuss a strategy, from upstream to Debian. Typically, I'm
having thoughts about fixing bugs vs new features, knowing
technically the origin of problems and the amount of needed time
to fix them, etc. It could prepare a hacking-day or
squashing-accessibility-day if we manage to have talks together.

He accepted to come, but needs to have his travel covered. Could
Debian do this? He's from USA, so I think it would cost about
2000E. Would it be possible? What's the process or who's the
contact to do this, so that I put him/her in our future mail
    exchanges if Debian accepts shis?

    Thanks for feedback,
