Changes:
 xdelta (1.2.0-1) experimental; urgency=medium
 .
   * New upstream release 1.2.0 (2026-09-25). The 1.x line lives in the
xdelta1/ subdirectory of the jmacd/xdelta monorepo, and since 1.2.0
upstream attaches a tarball of just that subdirectory to the GitHub
release. It already unpacks with the sources at the top level, so it
is used as the orig tarball unchanged: no repack, and no +ds suffix.
   * Rebase the packaging onto the upstream CMake build system and drop the
     Autotools machinery.
   * Rebuild debian/patches for 1.2.0. Dropped, as obsolete or already
upstream: the glib1-to-glib2 switch, the xdelta.m4 rewrite, the explicit
libedsio link, the static xd_handle_table declaration and the 64-bit
allocation fix. The Hurd build workaround goes too, as upstream removed
the only file it patched (test/xdeltatest.c). The remaining patches are
refreshed, and two new ones provide what the CMake build is missing
(versioned shared libraries and the pkg-config file).
   * Build libxdelta and libedsio as shared objects with SOVERSION 2 and 0,
matching the libtool -version-info values of the Autotools build, and
install them into the multiarch directory with the headers directly in
/usr/include. Neither the SONAMEs nor the libxdelta2-dev interface change.
   * Drop the Autotools-only artefacts that the new build system does not
produce: xdelta-config, the libtool .la files, the static libraries, the
aclocal macro and the ancient-libtool lintian override that went with them.
Nothing in the archive build-depends on libxdelta2-dev.
   * Keep the shared library symbols and the dependency in step with 1.2.0: the
new xdp_generator_free symbol makes the xdelta binary depend on the current
libxdelta2t64 instead of the stale 1.1.3 minimum, and the hand-written
shlibs file that pinned it is dropped.
   * Add an autopkgtest exercising the delta/patch round trip, including the
     transparent gzip path.
   * Target experimental: the build system change still needs a full archive
build and a lintian run before it can move to unstable.
   * Packaging the upstream 1.2.0 line closes the request to upgrade from 1.1.3
     (Closes: #691336).
