Don't know about 2.2. 2.2.19 with current kernel-patch-2.2.19-m68k fails with 2.95.2, so there should either be a gcc272 package or a kernel-patch that fixes the issue. Since so far the only problem I could see is the missing __muldi3 symbol in nfs.o and nfsd.o, that should be easy to fix.
