Subject: gcc-2.95: missing build dependency
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
X-Mailer: bug 3.3.9
Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Package: gcc-2.95
Version: 1:2.95.4-0.010506
Severity: serious

make check needs libncurses5-dev installed:
make[7]: Entering directory
`/build/buildd/gcc-2.95-2.95.4.ds1/build-native/mips-linux/libg++/etc/lf'
...
/build/buildd/gcc-2.95-2.95.4.ds1/src-native/libg++/etc/lf/screen.cc:5:termcap.h:
 No such file or directory
make[7]: *** [screen.o] Error 1
...
make[7]: Target `check' not remade because of errors.

on a seperate note, after this, expect fails:
make[3]: Entering directory `/build/buildd/gcc-2.95-2.95.4.ds1/build-native/gcc'
...
runtest --tool gcc
expect: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file:
cannot load shared object file: No such file or directory

i'm not sure what might be causing this without knowing what shared libraries
it is trying to use...
