Subject: [Alpha] ICE compiling DDD 3.1.2

Package: g++
Version: 1:2.95.2-13
Severity: normal

Attempting to look into #67713 ("ddd dumps core"), I noticed that
compiling DDD (apt-get source ddd ; cd ddd-3.2.1 ; debian/rules build)
ends with an internal compiler error:
c++  -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DNDEBUG -O2 -g -W -Wall -trigraphs  -c -I. -I../../ddd
-I../../ddd/.. -isystem /usr/X11R6/include  -o HelpCB.o ../../ddd/HelpCB.C
../../ddd/HelpCB.C: In function `void PopupTip(void *, XtIntervalId *)':
../../ddd/HelpCB.C:2155: Internal compiler error in `scan_region', at
except.c:2566

I was able to reproduce this problem on both alpha.debian.nl and
lully.debian.org.

closing the report, as it seems irrelevant now (newer ddd and newer
gcc versions).
