Version: 3.3-3
Severity: normal

Hi...

gcj doesn't appear to like high-valued characters in it's input stream. I s=
ee=20
this while trying to build parts of kdebindings:

KDirOperator.java:44: error: unrecognized character in input stream.
    from Bj=F6rn Sahlstr=F6m <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> until they will be integrated
                                                                        ^
KDirOperator.java:45: error: unrecognized character in input stream.
    into this library. See=20
http://devel-home.kde.org/~pfeiffer/DnD-classes.tar.gz
                                                                           =
     =20
^
KIconView.java:34: error: unrecognized character in input stream.
    you use this signal instead of the above mentioned. This way you don=B4t

etc... lots of such errors removed.

Since Sun's jdk apparently doesn't have a problem with this, could gcj be m=
ade=20
to handle these characters too?

Thanks,
Peter
