FWIW, the comment here http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11366#c8 originally dealing with the XDM-AUTHORIZATION cookie issue, applies equally well to these sorts of situation. If someone works it down to a flag, or a combination of flags, and a preprocessed source file, then GCC's upstream can hack on it. -- Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it. - Brian W. Kernighan
