Matt, apparently you're running a local buildd, please improve the reports:
- add the preprocessed source. this should be easy, if you keep the build tree in case of an error (you could even parse the build log for the "See <URL:http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html>" string). - File a separate report to the package, which fails. Currently there is no sign in the BTS, that the gnubik package fails. A separate report seems to be appropriate, so that the package status and the ICE can be tracked separately. Thanks, Matthias Matt Kraai writes: > Package: gcc-4.0 > Version: 4.0.1-4 > Severity: important > > gnubik fails to build because there is an ICE: > > > if i486-linux-gnu-gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -DWIDGET_SET_gtk=1 > > -DSCRIPTDIR=\"/usr/share/gnubik/scripts\" > > -DGUILEDIR=\"/usr/share/gnubik/guile\" > > -DICONDIR=\"/usr/share/gnubik/icons\" -DLOCALEDIR=\"/usr/share/locale\" > > -DXTHREADS -I/usr/include/gtkglext-1.0 -I/usr/lib/gtkglext-1.0/include > > -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/X11R6/include > > -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 > > -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -Wall -g -O2 -MT > > cube.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/cube.Tpo" \ > > -c -o cube.o `test -f 'cube.c' || echo './'`cube.c; \ > > then mv -f ".deps/cube.Tpo" ".deps/cube.Po"; \ > > else rm -f ".deps/cube.Tpo"; exit 1; \ > > fi > > cube.c: In function 'make_scm_cube': > > cube.c:683: internal compiler error: in size_binop, at fold-const.c:1637 > > Please submit a full bug report, > > with preprocessed source if appropriate. > > See <URL:http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html> for instructions. > > For Debian GNU/Linux specific bug reporting instructions, > > see <URL:file:///usr/share/doc/gcc-4.0/README.Bugs>. > > -- > Matt -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
