Howdy,

ncurses fails to build on i386 because it cannot compile with -m64:

> gcc -m64 -O2 -g conftest.c >&5
> /usr/bin/ld: warning: ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, needed by /lib64/libc.so.6, not
> found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)
> /lib64/libc.so.6: undefined reference to [EMAIL PROTECTED]'
> /lib64/libc.so.6: undefined reference to [EMAIL PROTECTED]'
> /lib64/libc.so.6: undefined reference to [EMAIL PROTECTED]'
> /lib64/libc.so.6: undefined reference to [EMAIL PROTECTED]'
> /lib64/libc.so.6: undefined reference to [EMAIL PROTECTED]'
> /lib64/libc.so.6: undefined reference to [EMAIL PROTECTED]'
> /lib64/libc.so.6: undefined reference to [EMAIL PROTECTED]'
> collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Is this a toolchain problem? If so, has it already been reported (and
if so, as what bug report number) or which package should I file it
against?
