I'd like to do that but your use of Subversion is too confusing.

* The sid branch does not currently build on sid due to missing build
  dependencies;

* Revisions made on the sid branch are not uploaded to unstable but to
  experimental; therefore "sid" should really be named "experimental";

* I will not apply patches to this branch, because I want them to be
  uploaded to unstable. I want to apply patches to the latest upload
  to unstable, i.e. -21.

* I am unable to find any revision that corresponds to -21. Ideally,
  such a revision should also appear as a tag under /gcccvs/tags/sid
  but it doesn't.

* there is no branch for those patches that are intended for etch;

* and last month you said you didn't want me to create such a branch.

If you don't want me to branch, then I will not try to apply the
patch; I will wait until etch is released and the Subversion
repository is in a sane state again (i.e the sid branch builds on sid,
and is the branch that gets uploaded to unstable).
