I tried: gcc-4.1 -m32 -D__KERNEL__ -Wall -Wundef -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -Os -msoft-float -pipe -Iarch/powerpc -ffixed-r2 -mmultiple -mno-altivec -funit-at-a-time -mstring -mcpu=powerpc -Wa,-maltivec -fomit-frame-pointer -fno-stack-protector -Wdeclaration-after-statement -Wno-pointer-sign aic79xx_core.i and it worked. > Martin, it is my believe that this affects real 32bit machines only, > have you tested this on one of the project machines ?
