Thanks for you quick response. I guess I was to fixated to search for packages with 64 in the name and there seems to be a bug in http://packages.debian.org/search?suite=sid&arch=sparc&mode=filename&searchon=contents&keywords=libgcc.a What is still an issue is that gcc -m64 -print-libgcc-file-name prints a wrong filename without gcc-multilib installed.
