Package: gcc-4.2 Version: 4.2.3-5 Severity: important Tags: patch Hello,
When using -fstack-protector, gcc tries to link with libssp_nonshared, which is not package, thus making a bunch of packages FTBFS. The attached patch fixes that by making configure notice that (just like on GNU/Linux and GNU/kfreebsd) __stack_chk_fail is available from glibc.
