Investigation is difficult.  The problem only occurs under make.
It is possible to successfully run the program that segfaulted
under gdb.  So, there must be a problem with the environment
in the gnattools.  The backtrace in the core dump wasn't useful.
Increasing the stack limit for processes didn't help.

I recall a similar problem under hpux,
<http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24822>.  Do you know
which base compiler was used to build 4.3.1-1?

It may be that the issue is still latent even with a rebuild.
