Investigation is difficult. The problem only occurs under make. It is possible to successfully run the program that segfaulted under gdb. So, there must be a problem with the environment in the gnattools. The backtrace in the core dump wasn't useful. Increasing the stack limit for processes didn't help. I recall a similar problem under hpux, <http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24822>. Do you know which base compiler was used to build 4.3.1-1? It may be that the issue is still latent even with a rebuild. Dave -- J.
