I really don't care about the severity as long as it is RC, but if you think this is not a critical bug than you should take action to get [0] corrected: critical makes unrelated software on the system (or the whole system) break, or causes serious data loss, or introduces a security hole on systems where you install the package.
a bug is critical if it breaks unrelated software OR the whole system, not just the latter.
