Hello,
currently many packages such as m4 fail the LDBL_EPSILON test on both
powerpc and ppc64 [1]:
FAIL: test-float-h
==================
test-float-h.c:460: assertion 'x <= 1.0L' failed
FAIL test-float-h (exit status: 134)
According to upstream, this is caused by gcc still using the old IBM
format for double double types [2], so I assume the compiler must be
reconfigured on powerpc and ppc64 the same way it's reconfigured on
ppc64el.
Thanks,
Adrian

No. this would require bumping the baseline. I assume, we don't want to
do that.
