I'm experiencing the problem as well because I have a customized kernel: $ uname -r 2.4.20mh04 Is there a workaround for this problem so that I can get libc6 installed? I'd like to manually modify the preinst script with the above kernel_rev line. It doesn't appear possible because dpkg extracts the preinst directly from the .deb. Is there a way to modify the preinst so that I can get past this problem? Thanks, - Mark -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
