Hmm.. I'll try and figure out why it wants that.
looking into libppxp.a, it has:
ppxp.o:

U __ctype_b
U __strtol_internal
U chdir
U close
U connect
so, something in
lib/ppxp.c is probably the culprit. I don't see a direct
reference to __ctype_b there.
I don't have time right now, this is to jot down up to what I have found.
