Hello !

Programs using mprotect like losetup (when setting up an encrypted loopback
device) do not work any more with 2.3.2.ds8 (and in powerpc, the precedebt
working version is 2.3.2-9). mprotect call returns :
 memlock: Bad address
 
Downgrading to 2.3.2-9 solves the problem.

Thanks for your report, I guess so.  I've closed this bug, but if you
find it's glibc/ppc problem, please feel free to reopen and report in
detail.
