Package: glibc-doc Version: 2.3.2.ds1-21 Severity: normal In "(libc)Socket-Level Options", SO_RCVBUF is documented as having a type "size_t". In Linux, it is of type "int". The man page socket(7) does not say what type it is. The same goes for SO_SNDBUF.
This is mostly a problem on 64-bit architechtures where size_t is not an int. If SO_RCVBUF should be size_t, then this is a Linux bug and this bug should be reassigned. /Teddy -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: sparc (sparc64) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-sparc64-smp Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
