Package: libc6-dev Version: 2.6.1-4 Severity: grave After the changes in -3 to sysmacros.h to fix #439859, software that defined a major or minor variable now breaks, whereas it used to compile fine. I have not heard a valid rationale for breaking things resulting from that patch. gimp currently fails to build with the following:
