netgroup caching doesn't exist in any stable Debian releases, and unstable/experimental is tracking upstream, so we'll organically pick this up in time. I didn't see it as a regression, since it's a new feature.

The Debian Edu team heavily relies on NIS netgroups coming from LDAP. So any help with this in Debian jessie is highly appreciated!!!
