I thought about that, but the latest siso versions come with their own set of
challenges. It is definitely possible, but not as straightforward as the
previous ones we got so far.
I can start working on the next versions in parallel, but I wonder if there is
someone that could re-trigger it, just to have siso in testing and ready (just
in case...the challenges takes us a lot of time)

If I'm understanding correctly, all you need is to have the existing
siso package rebuilt (eg, a binNMU https://wiki.debian.org/binNMU)? Does
it need to happen for all architectures?
