Hello, a week or so ago I installed Gnome2 from experimental. Everything works more og less just perfect, and I'm a very happy penguin, but when I start X (using startx), the startup process hangs for about 30 secs when showing the Gnome splash screen and the text "Window manager" (I guess, it's in norwegian).
I deleted all .gnome and .gconf directories before I tried. I'm using sawfish as wm. Best regards, Stian Jordet
