Hi, I just wanted to give GNOME a try today. I installed the gnome meta package, and modified my .xsession according to README.debian from gnome-session.
I managed to start GNOME properly but the splash screen stayed in the foreground for 5 minutes before disappearing. Has anyone experienced such behaviour? Thanks. -- J�r�me Marant http://marant.org
