there are a lot of applications that use ctrl-shift-f shortcut (mostly
for bold font). sadly this doesn't work in etch, because this shortcut
is used in gtk for hex-code unicode entering. there is also a bug in
gnome bugzilla:

this is fixed in 2.10. as etch will ship with 2.8 (afaik), wouldn't it a
good idea to backport the patch? should i fill a bug report regarding
this? or am i the only one noticing this?
