Hi,

The pkg-gnome SVN repos will now check that the commit includes a real
log messages (it requires at least a letter or digit) and will reject
commits touching debian/changelog if the version ends with ubuntuNNN
 (any number of digits).

People in pkg-gnome can fix the pre-commit hook if needs be; it's in
 /svn/pkg-gnome/hooks/pre-commit on alioth.

If you have interesting checks for this pre-commit hook, you're welcome
to suggest them; one thing which we could think about is access
control: most people only hack on a couple of modules.

   Cheers,
