Hi, the package hat can be removed. It has not been working for a long time, no upstream development is happening, does not build any more, is using a non-common build system and other tools are available replacing it. I’m filing this as ROM although I am not the maintainer, but the last maintainer has agreed that his packages are taken over by the Debian Haskell Team.
