I suspect so. I've made a couple of attempts to track down this
issue, but its deep in the ghc runtime linker and gdb is mostly
useless because its in the haskell stack which gdb doesn't
understand.

I would like to come back to this issue, but I don't have a lot of
free time at the moment.
