I believe there was a misunderstanding. @Louis, from what I understood Iain has cherry-picked patches for alex compatibility from upstream that are working, and is ready to go. So there is nothing that should stop him from uploading? If there was work duplicated that is unfortunate, but happens from time to time. Your work is nevertheless appreciated.
