Dear Dmitry, thanks for your changes. I couldn’t help but notice, though, that you bumped a package without a corresponding change in the package plan repository. Doing that is important, as otherwise we might run into a situation where not all packages have a version that goes well together.
For things targetting experimental, the correct branch in the package-plan repository is "ghc-7.8". In fact, the exceptions bump is not without problems: Cabal install failed: cabal: Could not resolve dependencies: trying: exceptions-0.8.0.2 (user goal) next goal: iteratee (user goal) rejecting: iteratee-0.8.9.6 (conflict: exceptions==0.8.0.2, iteratee => exceptions>=0.3 && <0.7) rejecting: iteratee-0.8.9.5, 0.8.9.4, 0.8.9.3, 0.8.9.1, 0.8.9.0, 0.8.8.2, 0.8.8.1, 0.8.8.0, 0.8.7.6, 0.8.7.5, 0.8.7.4, 0.8.7.3, 0.8.7.2, 0.8.7.1, 0.8.7, 0.8.6.2, 0.8.6.1, 0.8.6.0, 0.8.5.0, 0.8.4.6, 0.8.4.5, 0.8.4.4, 0.8.4.3, 0.8.4.2, 0.8.4.1, 0.8.4.0, 0.8.3.0, 0.8.2.0, 0.8.1.2, 0.8.1.1, 0.8.1.0, 0.8.0.3, 0.8.0.2, 0.8.0.1, 0.8.0.0, 0.7.0.2, 0.7.0.1, 0.7.0.0, 0.6.0.1, 0.5.0.0, 0.4.0.2, 0.4.0.1, 0.4.0, 0.3.6, 0.3.5, 0.3.4, 0.3.1, 0.2.4, 0.2.3, 0.2.1, 0.2, 0.1.0 (global constraint requires (==0.8.9.6)) Can you make sure that you can work with the package-plan repository and ensure that the version listed there is never below the one in the debian/changelog file? If you are having trouble running that, or how to resolve a problem like this¹, please do not hesitate to ask! Thanks, Joachim ¹ In this case, the solution would probably be to simply drop iteratee. See the LTS-2.0 branch, which is a possible way to get our versions to at least the version in Stackage LTS-2.0. -- Joachim "nomeata" Breitner Debian Developer nome...@debian.org | ICQ# 74513189 | GPG-Keyid: F0FBF51F JID: nome...@joachim-breitner.de | http://people.debian.org/~nomeata
