I will try to find this text next week in the manuals of my workstation. Now I am travelling. Is there any URL in docs.hp.com where can I read explanations about this far way.

This is foreseen to disable '... anyone to attempt to boot the workstation
from a device other than the device you have specified ..' (read in the
"Model 712 Owner's guide"). Please see your own Owner's guide for more explanation.
