I guess a more direct question is why during the installation process 
the mirror selection menu different on cd and netboot ?  During the 
mirror selection menu on the cd i have the option of editing my apt 
sources list and during the netboot I do not.  Also, am i able to edit 
an existing image file (boot.img).
