Hi again, following up on my 3 months report... With a bunch of recompiles I have managed to pin down the cause: -CONFIG_PATA_CMD64X=m +# CONFIG_PATA_CMD64X is not set Enabling CONFIG_PATA_CMD64X module breaks booting both with 2.6.32.21 and as well with the most recent 2.6.35.4. Is drivers/ata/pata_cmd64x.ko needed for any HPPA systems? Can we perhaps disable it from the kernel config again?
