Yes!, I have the hurd sucessfully installed from the tarball. I now how a
tons of questions:

How do you have your development environment set up? Do most of you use a
cross compiler from a Linux, or native hurd gcc, or both? Can I use apt to
get hurd debs, dselect? Should I get and setup the ghhk? Are you actually
able to install all of the hurd debs on the debian server? I see that some
are just symbolic links to woody debs. Is there a later version of X that
runs on the hurd? I have a Rage mobility chipset that is only supported by
XFree 3.3.6, so it seems that I may be out of luck there.

Well that's all I have to ask, hope I didn;t as too many questions.
