You should prefers http://egp.free.fr/patches/txi-4.0-egp4.diff.gz. With this patch you have: . french translation of title, chapter... . support for ' in node names . support for @-commands (accents and so one) in node names . support for accents in indexes . support for iso-8859-1 encoding with @documentencoding And it's already submit for addition in next release of Texinfo :-) -- Edouard G.
