Yes, I've gotten that message a few times; I guess it is produced by files placed in bad sectors. A few weeks ago, when I tried to build apt, I noticed that when I readed certain file I lost the translator asociated with that filesystem; what I did that time was to move that directory into lost+found and rewrite it. I'm not sure bad blocks are the real cause of that; does Hurd manage bad blocks in partitions? ===== --------- | | | Cronos | | | "No confies en nadie mayor de treinta" | ----| | | Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | WWW: http://www.geocities.com/cronos1_mx/ --------- ___________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? -- Vos albums photos en ligne, Yahoo!
