Just settrans /dir /hurd/ext2fs -T typed part:1:file:<filename> Oh, wait you want it on GNU/Linux. You need some hackery for that. You need to find out the offset of the ext2 partition. Then you can make the following scripts to make it a bit easier to mount/umount.
