I'd say that `Linux systems' are systems that involve Linux; it's not a very descriptive term.... Some Linux systems are just lobotomised GNUs on top of Linux. Some (most?) are lobotomised GNUs with some implants. Some are BSD/Linux (I'll use "/" from now on to indicate an `on top of' or `over-under' relation, since I can't right a proper vinculum in ASCII). Some are somehomebrewOS/Linux. Some are just (a modified form of) Linux. Anthony might (I'm guessing that he does) have some specific one of the above in mind when he says "Linux systems", though.... I really wish that people would learn to speak with levels of specificity appropriate for what they're trying to communicate--it'd make life much easier and leave time for more fun things than guessing at semantics and playing out the resultant fights ;) -- "If we cannot be free, at least we can be cheap!" --Frank Zappa -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
