And if you have no idea how to debug or if you just don't want to do this can you please isolate the problem? In that case you just have to write a small test program in C which triggers the problem. You can report this bug (assuming this is a bug in the Hurd) using the bug tracker or by sending a report to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks, Marco
