There are some bugs that are hard to reproduce and debug. Examples:

(Yes, these still do happen.)

GNU Mach is generally not rock-solid (e.g. failed zalloc:s).

The ext2fs patch introduces a tiny bit of instability that shows up in buildd-like environments. I'm inclined to blame Mach for that but it requires time to investigate in detail.
