Hi, I am annoyed by doing of emacs segmentation fault on X with core.
Fatal error (11).Segmentation fault (core dumped) This phenomenon looks like the following one: http://lists.debian.org/debian-hurd/2006/01/msg00040.html Emacs works on the console without trouble. It works also on X in case of the -nw option addition. When analyzing it with gdb, emacs doesn't cause segmentation fault, instead, it freezes and should end with Ctrl+c. The bt when ending with Ctrl+c is recorded as follows: #0 0x0135ab30 in hurd_unpreempt_signals () from /lib/libc.so.0.3 #1 0x014728cf in getutmpx () from /lib/libc.so.0.3 #2 0x0000b8f3 in _dl_rtld_di_serinfo () from/lib/ld.so #3 0x01472ef1 in _dl_open () from /lib/libc.so.0.3 #4 0x014a6e23 in ??
