Ok might be that there are additional problems with the symlink but the swap
partition fixed the installproblems quite well. :)
The system is up and running.

the one from ubuntu-repositories. The script is not very verbose about its
version but the packageversion is 1.7.33

Seems that the error was not vital (guess that it tried to create a link but
the real file is because of the usr link) but I don't know for sure since I
had no time yet to test it in detail.

so thanks again. If anything goes wrong I will try to do it without the usr
