In addition to João's changes at (https://lists.debian.org/debian-hurd/2025/04/msg00017.html), crosshurd needs a few additions to packages/gnu: debian-ports-archive-keyring keyboard-configuration whiptail It could also be a good idea for the last prompt in ./native-install to either execute 'passwd' (kinda like d-i's "Set the root password" step). On an entirely different issue, the ext2fs server regularly crashes with: ext2fs/pager.c:416 file_pager_write_page: Assertion 'block' failed. This makes it impossible to cleanly poweroff and results in an increasing amount of dead files in /lost+found. Martin-Éric
