As I'm retiring from Debian, I intend to orphan the po-debconf package. I did not succeed in giving this package enough love in the past years and bugs are starting to pile up, but overall, the maintenance effort was not too high for this package. The package is important for the translation of Debconf templates and its infrastructure. The package description is: This package is an alternative to debconf-utils, and provides tools for managing translated debconf templates files with common gettext utilities.
