Recent PostgreSQL versions are indeed very very good.

The known replication tools are listed on the Great Bridge website :
http://www.greatbridge.org/genpage?replication_top

PostgreSQL Replicator is the best developed and most complete of these
efforts.
http://pgreplicator.sourceforge.net

There are good GUI tools around (pgAdmin on Windows is one example,
gASQL is another) :
http://techdocs.postgresql.org/oresources.php#admin

The online documentation is searchable :
http://www.postgresql.org/idocs

There is a new-ish documentation site :
http://techdocs.postgresql.org
(It lists all sorts of things; Articles, Guidelines; Database Conversion
resources, PostgreSQL Jobs listings, PostgreSQL Hosting companies, etc).

:-)

Regards and best wishes,

Justin Clift
